GreenLife Group were awarded the contract to maintain the prestigious Adelaide Airport grounds. As the prime gateway to South Australia the landscape must be picture perfect to welcome the thousands of interstate and overseas travellers.

The Adelaide Airport has many diverse areas requiring an integrated approach to maintenance. Hosting a business precinct within its boundary, there are also many internal customers whose grounds need to be maintained to a very high standard.

The Adelaide Airport Asset Management program provided by GLG includes mowing of all turf areas, fertilising, gardening, landscaping, plant selection and replacement, irrigation maintenance, weed and litter control. GLG also monitor the workplace environment and report any issues to airport management. All services must be carried out without impacting on daily airport operations in the safest, most efficient manner.

Once selected as the preferred supplier of grounds maintenance, the staff at GLG applied their knowledge and expertise in an effort to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the service delivery program. Through consultation with airport management, GLG developed a maintenance regime and activity calendar allowing provision of quality grounds all year round - a proven methodology.
